Note:
How to season a new cast iron pot?
1. Thoroughly clean the new pot, then heat it over medium heat. After ensuring the pot is dry, reduce to low heat.
2. Add a suitable amount of cooking oil, use chopsticks or tongs to hold a paper towel, and dip it into the oil.
3. Coat the pot evenly with oil using the paper towel, repeating several times for 3-5 minutes (use caution to avoid burns; pig skin is recommended if available).
4. Allow the pot to cool naturally; it is ready for use after seasoning. (This process can be repeated 2-3 times for best results, each lasting about 3-5 minutes.)

How to prevent rust on the pot?
1. After use, wash the pot with warm water and thoroughly dry it. Applying a layer of vegetable oil can enhance protection.
2. For long-term storage, lightly coat the pot with cooking oil as per the seasoning method.
3. If the pot starts to rust, use a scouring pad and salt to remove the rust and rust smell.
